Real Estate Web Design: Location, Location, Location

Standard

If you’ve turned to this post from my last one you are probably interested in learning what SEO (Search Engine Optimization) will do in respect to your website and it’s standing within the search engine results. If you feel like I am jumping ahead of myself and you are unsure of what SEO is and the dynamics of it you are more than welcome to look at some of the posts on SEO in the Website Marketing category to gain all the information you are looking for. For this post on real estate web design we will solely be focusing on real estate search engine optimization.

The first thing that you are going to want to learn from a web designer before you hire them is if they offer SEO services or if they are partnered with a company that does. You also want to find out that if, in fact, they do SEO, what it is they do for SEO on your real estate website. Since SEO is a continuous process you want to make sure that you are at least set up to have the ability to be found on the major search engines. Without having search engine optimization done to your site it won’t have but a slim chance of being found when someone is looking for your key terms on engines like Google and Yahoo.

Search engine optimization for real estate web design needs to be a little more aggressive than others because the terms for real estate and real estate listings are hard to fight for in the natural search results. If you want your site to be found on the broader terms like real estate, real estate listings, and etc. you are going to have to be prepared to spend a lot of time and resources to climb the list.
