Is DreamCo Design only a mobile website development company or do you develop regular websites too?
DreamCo Design is a professional web design company that develops both "normal" website solutions as well as mobile ones; though nothing about our work is all that normal, we and others tend to think it is as good as it gets in the web design industry!
How much does a mobile website cost?
That is certainly a loaded question. How much does a house cost? How much does a boat cost? Well, what kind of house or boat, right? Exactly. The same can be said about websites. Our team will help you determine whether or not you ned a mobile-ready website, or a mobile version of your site. Pricing could be a few hundred dollars or tens of thousands. Do you guys develop apps and games?
Yes. They are often confused. An (app) operates independently from the web. It is not a website and is coded differently. It is found in marketplaces like the App Store by Apple. Sure, we do that too, but often the need between a mobile site and an "app" is confused. We do both apps and mobile sites as well as mobile games.
Do you take a share of my profit?
No. Regardless as to whether we develop a website, an app, or a game for you, we simply quote on a per job basis. It is your business. It is your profit.
Do you develop for all of the platforms such as the iPhone, iPad, and Android ones?
For mobile websites, yes. Long as there is a "full web browser" on the mobile device or tablet you are fine. For mobile games and applications, that answer is a bit different. It depends on the circumstance as some development can be done in a way which universally works where other times things get a bit more involved. This depends.
What is the difference between a mobile-ready website and a mobile website?
A mobile ready website is a normal website that simply "works" and displays when someone views it from a mobile device. Sometimes it is ok and other times it is a bit clumsy. A mobile website is a mobile-version of the main website made specifically for mobile viewers. It only displays when someone is looking at the website from a mobile device.
If I only need a mobile website and not an app, can someone still have an icon on their iPhone, iPad, or other device?
Yes. This operates much like a bookmark. All the user is doing is adding it to their home-screen. We often add this in for mobile-version sites.
