George Washington. WTF!

What better way to summarize the feelings of our country in today’s day and age (majority speaking) when it comes to the bailout and congress’ approval rating. Fox News recently displayed poll numbers which showed the majority of citizens feel that the “tea parties” (which protest big money bailouts and a shopping list of other things) are well warranted.

At one of the rallies an individual was spotted with a print-out of President George Washington with the “WTF” blurb above him. Fantastic. In this age of SMS communication and shortened “l337 speak” there was no better match. Who said you couldn’t mix the old with the new.

Whether you are for or against the bailout of big banks, the stimulus package, or the ongoing tea-parties, the George Washington WTF sign is sure to bring a laugh to just about anyone. Chances are that is exactly how he would feel too.
