Timeshare Web Design: Finding Yourself and Your Business

December 31, 2007 10:18 am

The past few articles have been stressing the point that timeshare web design is an investment. I am sure most of you out there reading this already understand that everything is potentially an investment depending on your philosophical views. Timeshare web design is an investment at the most traditional sense of the term. I just wanted to be sure I got that across to everyone reading these things. For those of you that are looking to pursue a timeshare web design solution and this is the first article you have read I suggest going back and reading the previous articles as well. Seeing as I pretty much beat the investment thing into the ground I think it is time we focused on a few of the benefits of a timeshare web design solution.

First of all a timeshare web design solution offers you and your timeshare business a tremendous amount of exposure. Most of you who may read this blog often know that a website is probably the best way to showcase your business. The only other way to get that kind of exposure is to advertise during the Super Bowl. But if you did that you’d be looking at a few million dollars for a few precious seconds. A timeshare web design solution is not going to cost anywhere a million dollars let alone a few million. Maybe a couple thousand depending on the website but for timeshare web design you’d be looking at the low thousands at the most.

Just think of the millions of people that use the web each day. Your timeshare website will be available for those people to view every second of everyday until the world blows up or you decide to shut it down. That is a lot of potential passersby’s. The key to success with timeshare web design is to some how focus those millions of web browsers towards your timeshare website. This can be done in several ways. One of the major things you can do is strategic marketing. Print and hand out flyers, have graphic banners on affiliated websites, from partnerships with other related businesses, and so on. Typically this can all be achieved by networking. That is simply getting to know others in the related industry and making friends.

Getting people to check out your timeshare website is the second big step in the timeshare web design process. The next few articles will focus on the networking and marketing aspects of timeshare web design. We will discuss SEO, Pay Per Click and other forms of web marketing, as well as the best ways to network. For now I will bid you all farewell. Everyone have a safe and happy new year. Timeshare Web Design: Big Fun

10:16 am

Time share web design offers you a great big bag of fun that can only be matched by buying your own timeshare vacation property. Can you hear the excitement in my voice? Okay so maybe timeshare web design is not that exciting.  However it is pretty cool to see the whole process go down. Right before your eyes those great ideas will be brought from paper to the computer screen. It is almost like watching the birth of a child except without all the gross stuff and the screaming. Okay again I am stretching the truth but it is pretty cool to witness.

The most important thing is that you decided to make that big jump and get on board with a timeshare web design solution. In a few weeks you will see for yourself what all these web design articles are talking about. Now you never know if your timeshare web design solution is going to be a hit. But rest assured that your timeshare business is much better off with a timeshare web design solution then without one. You just have to be sure you are taking the proper steps to ensure your timeshare website’s success. Just like we discussed in the previous articles you need a little bit of a backbone and not be afraid to throw some money down.

Again I can not stress the importance of looking at timeshare web design from an investment perspective. Most folks just assume that there timeshare web design solution will take care of itself. Well let me tell you that after awhile they will be screaming and crying about how things did not work out. Most of those web design horror stories we all hear come from the faults of the website’s owner and not the designer. As humans we tend to shift the blame to make ourselves feel better.  But it is the truth. Most timeshare web design, and any website for that matter, failures come from the owner’s mistakes. Do not fall into that category. A timeshare web design solution is going to take some work and some money from you in order to succeed.

Most folks do not like to hear or even think about their timeshare web design solution costing them more money. But if you really think hard about the things an investment needs to succeed it makes perfect sense. You need to spend money to make money. No one ever made a fortune by sitting abound waiting for it to happen. Unless of course you were born into money. But we are talking about achieving that status with hard work and smart decisions. Timeshare web design can be that golden ticket to your business’s success. You just have to be sure you are ready to take on that responsibility. Medical Web Design: Cosmetically Speaking

9:41 am

One of the most important types of medical web design out there is cosmetic web design. By this I mean doctors that specialize in cosmetic surgery. The reason for this being that most people who are considering cosmetic surgery are really looking to do a lot of research on the subject beforehand. Whether it is research on the type of surgery they are looking at or the doctor that they are going to trust with their outward appearance. If you are a doctor making a website you should think about a few things. One being, how are you going to show that you are experienced? What are you going to put as far as information on your website? How easy is the information to find?

Showing you are a knowledgeable and well-experienced cosmetic surgeon is a hard thing to show people. They can either believe you or not. This is what images are perfect for. You want to have a good amount of text explaining your credentials and all the work that you have done previously. You also want images to go along with this. I would suggest having a page dedicated to before and after pictures of your patients. This will be the deal breaker. More people are going to be looking at your before and after pictures than reading any of your text. People are visual creatures and that’s just fact.

Your information should reflect your professionalism and your ability to be personable. Try to write as if there was someone really sitting there listening to you talk. The information that is on your site should be a home page welcoming telling potential patients a little bit about what you do. There should be an about us/me section explaining, as said above, your credentials and a little about yourself. Another page should be dedicated to your services, meaning all the types of cosmetic surgeries that you can perform. This page should be chock full of information about each type of surgery, the procedure, and anything else you can let the patient in on. This would also be a good place to have a link to your images (before & after). The last bit of information is your contact page that should have your number and location.

You should always make sure that your navigation is easy to use and straight to the point. Never having someone searching for a bit of information or whatever they may be looking for. Navigation is important in medical web design because there is so much competition out there that the potential patient can just go to someone else’s website. Keep this in mind when designing your medical web page. Want to learn more about medical web design? Visit us at DreamCo Design - Medical Web Design. Medical Web Design: Design at Will

8:50 am

Medical web design is one type of web design that should be used frequently. Trying to find a doctor has become ten times easier because of the Internet and medical web design. No more flipping to the doctors page in the yellow book and randomly placing your finger onto the page. You can now find everything your looking for in a doctor by just filling out a form, submitting and presto! you’ve got results upon results to choose from. The only problem I see with this is that most of the time when you try to look into the medical facility and/or the doctor, all you get to see is where they are located and their contact information. I suppose I could spend the time to pick up the phone and call to ask all of my questions which I feel are valid and important, but would they be able to spend the time on me? I realize doctors are quite busy and usually don’t have time to sit with me on the phone and chat about what it is they do and what their patients can expect from them. There must be some solution to this mess. Of course there is, it’s medical web design, and every doctor should think about having their own website made so that patients looking them up can read some information about the doctor they are thinking about choosing.

With that being said I want to say a few things to the people thinking, “Well not every doctor has a lot of information to give. A lot of doctors only have a small practice that really doesn’t need a web page.” Wrong! Every doctor can benefit from having a web page. I’ve used the “find a doctor in your area” form a bunch of times and all I get is that list of names and locations. In fact, there are always a couple of doctors with websites listed. These are the ones that I look at! You know why? Because I want something solid to look at without having to talk to a doctor that I may not even end up choosing; and so does everyone else. Even if your a doctor with a small practice, you can still make a smaller webpage that showcases your expertise. Even having a website makes your look bigger than you are. There are so many benefits that in this day and age you really can’t go without one. Not to say that some doctors who already have their regular patients built up can’t survive without a website. I’m talking about doctors just coming into practices of their own. It will really help you get your practice off the ground.

Along with medical web design there comes a question. What do I put into my medical website as far as information goes? Well, only you can really decide this. There are so many different types of doctors specializing in all sorts of different areas that there really isn’t a good general template I can give you. I can tell you that the more information the better. I’ve said this in many other posts. Also try to be personable and professional at the same time when adding content to your website. My last bit of advice is to always make sure to have your contact information, your location, and hours that you are open somewhere on your site. It’s the last thing I’m going to want to know about you after looking through your site. Want to know more about medical web design? Pet Services Web Design: I’m Your Biggest Fan

December 28, 2007 12:06 pm

There are fan sites for almost anything you can think of: animals, movies, games, people, and so many others. Most of these sites are put together by people who don’t really know how to design a website. Animal fan sites are something that a lot of people look to for information and research. You should take this seriously as an obvious fan yourself. Although I realize that there really is no services being sold on a fan site or anything that can make a customer upset with the performance of the site; you should still have a good looking site for a few reasons. I’ll be using dog sites as my example. One being that people are coming to your page to look at the information you have posted. If your site looks terrible people won’t enjoy it as much, and in turn most likely won’t continue to stay on your page; although if you are well informed and have plenty of information it may persuade them to stay. Most people are looking up breed information because they want to know more about their dog or they want to know all they can about a dog they are thinking about buying. Thinking about this, you should realize that there is tons of information required to do this, unless you a site dedicated to one specific breed.
With all this information comes many, many pages. This means that an exceptional navigation system is mandatory. You must have one, no questions asked. There is nothing worse than a page where you can’t find something you’re searching for. With so many pages included in your site everything should be organized and in place.
Images, images, images! These are so important. A site that is just text really turns people off. Everyone loves pictures to go along with text so they can visualize what it is they are reading. You need to have tons of these on your site as well. ; Not only for enjoyment but also as another form of information. People need to see these pictures to make an educated decision and if they can’t find those pictures on your sight they will go somewhere else to view them.
Although your goal as a fan site is really not to keep people on or to sell anything, you should take pride in your website. It’s possible that in the future of your sight, if it is well liked and linked to frequently, you will move up in the list for Google. This in turn could possibly have the benefits of selling advertising space on your site. Making you some extra money each month or whatever you decide. I’m just throwing some ideas out there and you should decide for yourself how far you want your website going. I enjoy fan sites no matter what they pertain to. So I wish you good luck.
